At Champion Bay Senior High School, we ensure that student achievement and learning is at the centre of all that teachers do.
Our broad curriculum offers pathways leading to attainment of an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications or future employment. We currently run three academic extension streams. This is in readiness for a new selective Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Academic Extension Program beginning in 2020 for selected Year Seven students. All students, across the intake areas of both schools will have the opportunity to apply for the STEM Academic Extension Program. The School will also run a general extension program across years Seven to 10 beginning in 2019. Successful students will be drawn from intake area schools and be based on both system and teacher judgement data. Initial application will be by expression of interest from families.
