We anticipate a start time of approx 9.30am and depending on participation numbers, will determine how quick the day progresses.
Presentations will be from approx 2pm.
It is a regular school day and attendance is required. If student is not attending, the normal process of informing the school should be followed. If your child does not want to attend the carnival, they must stay home. There are no staff on site to accommodate these students.
Students are to come to school as normal, they will go to Form and then disperse into their houses. From there, students in their houses will be taken on the school bus to the Aquarena. They will return to school by 2:45pm.Participation is voluntary at the carnival, although participation is highly encouraged! There are a number of water and land based activities students can be involved in to earn valuable house points.
Students must wear appropriate swimwear and House colours. Body paint and hairspray are not permitted.
There will be water and sunscreen provided to students. They are encouraged to bring a packed lunch and water bottle. The Aquarena canteen is available, students will need a pass from their house leaders/teachers to access. (4 per house at a time to limit numbers).Body paint and hair spray are not permitted. Coloured zinc is allowed at the Aquarena but NOT on the buses.
Should you wish to collect your student from the Aquarena at the end of the presentations, you will need to sign them out with Mr Croft.
