Midwest Clontarf Academy

The Clontarf Foundation exists to improve the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects of young Aboriginal men and, by doing so, equips them to participate meaningfully in society.

The Midwest Clontarf Academy programme was established in 2004 at then John Willcock College. Currently the Academy caters for students from Years 7 to 12 and operates out of Champion Bay Senior High School and Geraldton Senior High School.

The Midwest Clontarf Academy engages students through leadership, well-being and self-esteem building activities. As a result of the programme, academy boys spend more meaningful time at school.

During Clontarf contact time the boys take part in a varied programme aimed at achieving our mission statement, which includes health checks for all boys. Students with good attendance and school participation are invited to join major carnivals around WA.
